Chic Office Decor Ideas

The reception area in your office is just as important as the entry way to your home. No one wants to walk into an unorganized, under decorated home. This is also true for an office. Here, your customers or clients get their first impression of your business.

Our before -The sofa table behind our reception desk. Although we like a clean, natural look at our office this was not very inviting. This lonely Orchid was not doing the trick.

We first started with 3 pieces of birch wood we picked up at our local florist, we tied a sheer ribbon around them to keep a chic look while still being "natural". This also helped keep a sturdy post to later lean books against.

We then added some reading material that we had lying around the office. The Knot Magazine, fancy colored diamond book and our personal look book give an inviting feel to the table as well as add a little color. Using items that you already have is a great way to repurpose things you've may forgotten about.

We then set our candle on top of the stack to adds some height as well as set the ambience of the room.

Finally, we returned our lone Orchid to it's now not so lone table. These tips can also be applied to your home. Your coffee table, kitchen island, or dining room buffet would be work great! Happy decorating.
