If you're lucky enough to have acorns occur naturally where you live, this is the perfect autumn wreath for you! If not (and I totally sympathize!), you can usually find an inexpensive acorn alternative at your local craft store.Welcome your front door guests with this naturally beautiful Autumn Acorn Wreath!
Grab your acorns, grapevine wreath, and hot glue gun. My acorns were store-bought so I didn't have to worry about bugs. If you're lucky enough to have acorns around naturally don't forget to heat them at 175 for a couple hours with the door cracked to get rid of any unwanted critters!
Working one acorn at a time, begin gluing them in place. I suggest evenly distributing them as you go so that you don't end up with any bald spots!
Continue gluing acorns in place until you're happy with the coverage.
To make an easy burlap bow, make a loop with a piece of burlap ribbon and some strong double-sided tape. Grab a small piece of burlap, pinch the middle, and again, secure with strong double-sided tape.
Use more hot glue to affix bow to wreath and hang in place for everyone to enjoy!
