Antique Vanity Repurposed

I transformed a damaged and dated antique vanity into two functional and stylish nightstands.

Before people get too upset that I painted an antique, please know that I struggled with how to preserve all the damaged veneer for months...but the damage was so bad from years of neglect that I just managed to salvage it in the most useful way I knew how.

With some help from my husband, we deconstructed the vanity into two tall and slender nightstands.

After painting them in Annie Sloan Chalk Paint {Graphite} and adding some cute ceramic hardware...these two are ready for a fresh start and new beginning! Swing by my blog to see more pictures and hear more of the story.
