Please visit my blog post for a complete tutorial. I can't tell you how much I appreciate you clicking through to the original source. Thank you! http://www.refreshliving.us/2015/08/diy-drop-cloth-curtains.htmlI'm on a mission to decorate our cottage on the cheap (cheap, cheap). Our front playroom/bedroom/living room has three walls of windows, which is a tad bit bright for our poor visitors that stay in the that room. I put off making curtains until we painted, but once that was done, I knew it was time to figure out how to sew curtains.
Using drop cloths for curtains is nothing new, but at less than $15 for a 9' x 12' drop cloth, it was the best option for covering our massive 13' wide window.
Head on over to the blog for the link to the full tutorial I used, as well as all the specific adjustments I made to save money and create extra large panels. I also have a post on how I used drop cloths to reupholster my couch!
